Ana Fernandez is a Spanish actress. Her most recent appearance was Carlota in the Netflix series Cable Girls. Ana Kristina Gasteyer, an American actress and performer, is also a comic. Her fame was sparked by her appearance as a host of the NBC Sketch Comedy series Saturday Night Live. She has since starred in shows like ABC's Suburgatory TBS's People of Earth, NBC's American Auto and the film Mean Girls. Gasteyer started her career at Northwestern University; she initially was a voice major, but later switched to theatre studies after she started to get involved with the campus' Improv comedy troupe. She carried that same spirit to her performances as Sheila Shay, the overly-controlling character from Suburgatory and Karen Grisham the agent on Lady Dynamite. All of this has led up to American Auto, an NBC comedy that will finally give Ana Gasteyer her starring role. The most notable thing about her is her role as a member on the NBC sketch comedy program Saturday Night Live from 1996 through 2002. Since then, she's appeared on sitcoms, including ABC's Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto, and in the film Mean Girls. Ana Gasteyer has waited her all her life to be a part of American Auto. Two TV films were created based on her life story: Martha, Inc.: The Story of Martha Stewart (2003) and Martha: Behind Bars (2005). Cybill Shepherd portrayed the role of Martha Stewart in both of the films.
